JUDGING DETAILS
The Orage Masters is an unique and potentially controversial event based on its rider inspired, rider judged format. As teams battle it out head to head in the first two heats, the non competing teams will judge those on course by throwing up scores ranging from 0 - 10. 10 being the best possible score. To break any potential ties and keep the peace when necessary, we'll have a panel of guest judges who will drop the high and low scores awarded in each round and will also throw up a score of their own.
When the dust finally settles, each competing team will be scored from a potential max score of 70 points and will either ride into the next round or be banished back to their crib.
After the round robin presents our final two teams, the finalists will be given the course to themselves for one last kick at the can. With one final head to head battle, the last team standing earns the crown. If at any time there is a tie, each teams will be asked to send their best female and male athlete to challenge their tied rival in a one run tie breaking ski off... an all out battle to the death!
GUEST JUDGES
Injured athletes, gimps, friends and industry shred gods alike will make up our panel of guest judges who have been meticulously trained on the art of tie breaking and peace keeping. If the shit hits the fan, scream at them, not us.
