JUDGING DETAILS

The Orage Masters is a one of a kind event being both rider inspired and rider judged. As teams battle it out in 15 minute head to head heats, the non-competing teams play the role of the judging panel throwing up scores ranging between 0 and 10. We have a guest panel of judges on hand as well, and to keep things fair, these judges drop the high and low scores and then throw up a score of their own between 0 and 10.

When the dust finally settles each team is scored out of 80 possible points and will ride that wave either into the next round or right back to their cribs. After the completion of two round robin heats, the final two teams will be determined, these teams are then given the course all to themselves for one last kick at the can in a head to head battle. If at any time there is a tie, the two deadlocked teams will choose their best male and female rider to challenge their rival...

In the end, with proud athletes judging their rivals, controversy lurks around every corner. Although punches have never been thrown, the Orage Masters truly is an off the hook event.
