From half a mile in any direction you could hear the music pumping out of the club in the basement of the Riders Palace hotel Friday night as Turbonegro took the stage.  Between crowd surfing and the mosh pit there were more injuries at the concert than there have been on the mountain.

The halfpipe finals of the 2008 Orage European Open by Swatch just wrapped up under sunny skies in Laax, Switzerland. Mike Riddle, Xavier Bertoni, and Justin Dori walked away covered in champaign carrying giant cardboard checks after taking first, second, and third respectively. The top of the 2008 womens podium belongs to Sarah Burke, followed by Orage team rider Roz Groenewoud and Jen Hudak. Stay tuned for photos and run highlights coming later tonight.
