Last weekend in Montreal we unveiled our Spring/Summer 2009 collection to our reps and a few select media VIPs. After the show our crew headed out for some drinks and a few friendly "USA vs. Canada" rounds of bowling. It's no easy task to find United States flags in downtown Montreal, but after convincing the gift shop employees that we were part of the USA Olympic Hockey Team, Mike Nick made it happen. Here are a few shots of the action...

08/09 Kina Jacket and Mimosa Pant Win Snowpress Innovation Award

Orage, the ski apparel brand dedicated to Innovation Through Style, has been awarded Skipress' 2008/2009 Innovation Award within the snowsports industry. Specifically, Orage's 08/09 Limited Edition outfit the Kina jacket and Mimosa pant have taken one of the top honors within the "sexy" category.
According to Snowpress editors, products are selected by "culling from our countless hours of trendspotting, hot-product reporting, retail research and pre-show interviewing. Our editors hit the [SIA] show in search of the most innovative products of the year. The goal is to offer insight on innovative new products and which products they think consumers will be most excited about in 2008."
"As a brand dedicated to pushing the limits of what ski wear can be, we're honored to receive an award for innovation," says Orage designer Isabel Lafortune. "Innovation is, and has always been what separates Orage from the pack, so I am thrilled to get the public recognition for this piece."
The Kina jacket & Mimosa pant combo set a new standard for fashion and function in ski apparel. Fusing runway styling with ski technology this pairing demands attention. The Kina features 15,000/15,000 strategically seam sealed all weather linen, satin lining, ski pass system, zip-off powder skirt and endless detailing.
The Mimosa pant are just as functional as they are haute couture. Also a seam sealed all weather linen with hip to knee venting system the Mimosa pant is as elegant as it is slope ready. And true to their title, Orage will produce only 300 of these Limited Edition pieces worldwide.
Look for the Kina jacket and Mimosa pant to hit stores in Fall 2008, and in the mean time enjoy this sneak peak at some of the detailing that helped put this outerwear kit into the spotlight.

Course Build at Orage Masters 5
APRIL 10 / 08
Hello world,
The Orage crew has landed in Whistler and the World Ski and Snowboard Festival is about to pop off. Final preparations are in full swing and the Orage Masters course is 90% complete.
With TJ Schiller on course working the build with the Whistler park crew the features are taking shape nicely. Keeping our fingers crossed and hoping not to jinx the weather man we're looking at a super positive forecast for Saturdays' event. Teams are rolling in and tomorrow's scaffold crib set up and practice session are sure to give us a sneak peak into Saturday's action.
