Site Update: European Open, Email Newsletter, Team Page

MARCH 11 / 08

The past few weeks have been really busy on orage.com, and here is a little insight into some of the new features & content that we have added. On March 1st we delivered the first ever Orage email newsletter. If you havn't done so already, visit the subscribe page and sign up because as winter comes to a close the Orage newsletter is going to be the #1 source for information on our upcoming 08/09 winter collection, sneak previews, contests, and updates from our team all summer long. Speaking of the team, we have added some new links on the team page to make it easier to find the most recent content, including easier access to our team blog that was created back in January. Just when you thought you had all our Orage blogs figured out, we went and added one more blog that is specific to the 2008 Orage European Freeski Open. We will have our PR director, a photographer, and a videographer out on the mountain every day of the event in Switzerland updating the blog with results, photos, and videos. To keep up with all the action stay tuned to the newly revamped European Freeski Open event page from March 11th through March 15th. That's it for now, if you have any comments, suggestions or feedback please contact us!

Pros and Powder Tour Stop # 5 – CODA'S COP

MARCH 05 / 08

This year’s Orage Pros and Powder Tour has been a great success again and for all those who have come out to support us, we thank you. This Saturday will kick off stop # 5 of The Orage Pros and Powder Tour at CODA’S Canada Olympic Park in Calgary Alberta. With local pipe competitor Roz Groenewoud and Quebec’s Phil Casabon on hand, we’re sure that Saturday's event will be another sweeping success. The event kicks off at around 9:00am and will run through until the end of the day with Orage giving away none other than Orage product, autographs galore, an on hill BBQ and of course the ever prominent chance to win the coveted trip to Retallack Lodge for some cat skiing next winter. As Orage evolves, so do the tours that we develop. It’s likely that this year will be your last opportunity to Bro down with the pros but fear not, next winter a new Orage tour will be on the map bringing new light and excitement to freeski. After all, who are we to abandon those other freeskiers out there. Keep your eyes peeled and join us tomorrow at COP. The pipe is in fine condition and the chances for you to be walking away looking fresh and clean, always prevalent.

Keep on keeping on until the keeping done.

Orage Invades Attitash, NH

FEBRUARY 16 / 08

Another Saturday means another event in the books. This weekend the New England faction of the Orage Events crews headed east through the White Mountains in search of a good time. About 2 ½ hours down the road we ended up at Attitash Mountain, NH for the latest of their freeride series. This weekend was the the Big Guns Big Air event and the kids
were going deep down the landing of a double take off kicker… one side 30, one side 50.

With high flying ski and snowboard action under sunny skies and semi frigid temps, the Orage crew came packing tons of prizing for the competitors and as always, the Sling King. With plenty of "KBP's", better known as Koozie Bomb Projectiles, the Orage tent quickly became the athlete coral and a strong hold for us to wage an all out attack on innocent civilians in the closest lift line.

By the end of the day, just about everyone within 50 yards of the tent
was stoked out with t shirts and koozies and two worthy athletes walked
away with the Orage best trick award and plenty of gear from yours truly.
