Last weekend Montreal played host to the very first International Freeskiing Film Festival better known as the IF3 at The Legendary Imperial Theatre in downtown Montreal. Pro’s and Am’s alike battled it out for top prize in some of the most amazing ski films to date.

Last year we spent time on the road with the Orage team and worked to create an event that supports skiing where it thrives most. Grass roots, at your home hill, in your backyard. In its first year The Orage Pros & Powder Tour visited eight ski resorts across Canada and the United States and partnered with some of the industry’s hottest companies including Volkl, Marker, Tecnica, Anon Optics, Newschoolers.com, SBC Skier Magazine, NEast Magazine and Retallack Alpine Adventures.

1. Before your injury, how was your season going and what were you up to?

Prior to getting broke off, my season was spectacular. It was an absolute blast. I was skiing so much powder (not to rub it in) it was fabulous. I started off in Whistler where the snow was flying almost everyday. I skied for myself, didn't do much filming (which at the time, I was loving, but after I got hurt, I wasn't loving it as much).

As the slopestyle award ceremony wrapped up yesterday afternoon the crowd on hand skied off into the sunset confident that the sunny skies would carry over into the final day of competition. Silly us, we should know better by now.
