Orage Anti Tour Conquered Avon, CT
SEPTEMBER 29 / 08

The small town of Avon, Ct played host to Ski Sundown's Traveling Rail Jam this past weekend and Orage was on site to add fuel to the fire. We sent one of our very own, a man by the name of Intern Eric aka "Doaner" to pump up the crowd, toss out some free schwag and hook the short list of invited competitors up with prizing in hopes to push their rail mastery to the next level.
Depsite the original event date being postponed, a decent crowd was on hand the next day, aka yesterday aka sunday Sept 28, 2008 to witness all that Avon has to offer the early season shred scene.
Jarrod from near bye Ski Sundown set up a nice scaffold drop in and looted plenty of scraped snow from the local ice rink to keep the dozen or so jibbers jibbing... at least until the rain set in. And big E.D., the Doaner did what he was sent to do... in other words he harrased as many people in the crowd as he could in exchange for free Orage t shirts, bandanas and anything else we had to toss out. In the end, the crowd made out with tons of schwag and Doane got himself hooked up with hamburgers, soda and cotton candy.
Job well done Doane. And to the 3 who threw down the hardest on the rail set, enjoy your Orage gear.
And for those of you who did not make it to Stop 2 of the Orage Anti Tour, we'll see you somewhere along the road to the Masters 6.

Orage Settled in and Thanks the If3
SEPTEMBER 25 / 08
For those of you who weren’t able to drag yourselves out to the If3 in Montreal Quebec, you truly missed a great time. The boys from the If3 worked tirelessly to make all guests feel at home and we here at Orage are much obliged. Where else can you hang with your bro’s and pro’s, check out the latest and greatest in ski films and plain party your ass off? The If3!
Being that the If3 was in our own backyard, Orage had a hand in the festivities as well. For those of you who did attend, it was pretty easy to spot Orage on the second floor in what we dubbed the Orage Lounge. With Liberty skis posting up with us in the Lounge and pro’s, am’s and visitors alike all cramming in for a free bevvie and schwag bag, I think its fair to say we all enjoyed ourselves.

The Orage Anti Tour Invades AVON, CT This Weekend
SEPTEMBER 24 / 08

For those of you living in the Connecticut area... specifically the town of Avon feel free to come chill with Orage and crew as the Orage Anti Tour stop by Avon Day. Not only do we love the town of Avon we also support some of the local dealers such as The Ski Market and also a good fellow by the name of Fluff. Jarrod "Fluff" Moss just so happens to be the fearless leader of Ski Sundowns Terrain Park and has personally taken on the challenge of turning Avon day into an early season jib jam.
Heroic efforts such as these deserve the support of Orage. We'll be on site stoking the crowd with tons of free goodies, giving away killer 08 product and accepting names on our sign up list for anyone interested in winning a free trip to the Orage Masters 6 going down this April in lovely Whistler BC at the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival. To get in on the action find our tent... its big and black, you can't miss it. And give Intern Eric a High 5 when you see him.
As you may recall, i mentioned a jib jam a few lines back. Jarrod and Ski Sundown will be on site hosting an invitational rail contest with warmups and prelims going down throughout the day ending with the finals starting at 5:30 pm.
So don't miss out on the celebration of all things Avon, Orage and early season metal madness.
See you in Avon this Saturday September 27. If by chance mother nature doesn't shine the light down on us, a rainday is scheduled for Sunday Sept 28, 2008
For more information on the event, drive to Avon, Ct this Saturday.
See you there.
